MY SUNDAY.
I went lunch with cheryl (ng) today after church. And she insisted that we go to Haagen-Dazs because her family is going to celebrate mooncake festival tonight and she wants to buy ice cream mooncake for her family.
So we went to Haagen-Dazs. I told her to get something else because Haagen-Dazs is really expensive and I told her Joey bought me Haagen-Dazs mooncake last year... haha. When we opened the freezer, I got a shock when I saw the price. One mooncake costs $28!!! That's like MADNESS. I said, "Siao, so expensive!!" And she said, "Ya, let my family try once can already." And she bought cookies and cream mooncake. We also bought a cup of ice cream... I said I wanted to eat chocolate cookie ice cream but she told me she doesn't like chocolates. HURHUR. So we chose another flavor.
After that, we went to pepper lunch for lunch. And she passed me the mooncake. And I was like "HUH?" Then she passed me a short note/poem from Joey. And I was VERY SURPRISED! haha. She also passed me a packet of paper lanterns as well! Soon after, he called Cheryl (to thank her i think). heehee.
Lunch was short! Pity I couldn't hang out longer with her cos I had to rush off to Ruo's house for project meeting. I must really thank God for such wonderful project mates to work with! I had dinner at Ruo's house... It was so awkward because I was so shy! Clar went home for dinner and joined us after that to edit our work... and now I'm home! I'm so tired!

The surprise took place last year too!
So I think this will continue every year! haha. I still remember he smsed me last year.. "Come down now with two forks!" :) I had my first ice cream mooncake then!
I'll keep the paper lanterns!
