Lets See...
So school has started. eh, maybe not, school officially starts next week. This week is free from all tutorials. So lets see what's new this week.
My Timetable
I have a five day week! Although it is a five day week, I am still very happy! Because God is so good. My timetable is quite spaced out. That gives me more time to spend with God and my family. This week is the "add-drop" period. So basically, you "add" whatever modules you intend to take on top of the previously registered subjects or you "drop" it. Once you drop it, someone else can add it. heh. It isn't as simple as it sounds.. Because to get a module, it must first have vacancies, then it must be able to fit into your timetable. The past few days I was panicky and frustrated when all the electives have been snapped up, so I gave up and decided to pray. Aye! Why didn't I just start to pray from the start? And praise the Lord, I got all the modules I wanted to take.
My Hall
We have new additions in our hall! We have a fridge! Finally! Courtesy of Huifen's friend, definitely God's blessing. Heh. Now we can have a lot more variety over breakfast/lunch/tea/dinner.. YES. Now we can keep our food overnight. YES. We also have a water dispenser. You know the penguin one? heh. So now, we lack a television to make it more comfy. Who wants to sponsor us? HAHA.
My Insights
All of us want God's best. However, we will not be able to experience God's best, unless we've given Him our all. If i hold on to my own attitudes toward ministry, school, relationships, etc..., I would not know what is God's best for me.
Your majesty I can but bow, I lay my all before YOu now
In royal robes I don't deserve, I live to serve Your majesty.
I was in the lift that day and this primary one girl was having a convesation with her mum and all her mum replied was "Uh-huh", "Um', "Ah." So I thought it was one of those "kids say the darnest thing" converstions. But when I listened hard enough, she said these...
"I pray that I will remember to bring my waterbottle to school."
"I pray that I will remember to bring all my text books to school."
"I pray that I will enjoy myself in school today." ... ...
Then it got me thinking, this child prayed about anything. What about me? Once again, it has reminded me not to belittle prayers, God is willing to hear and is happy to hear. It also taught me to have faith like a child. To have faith like a little child and enjoy my journey with the Lord.
