When I bring my little cousin out, she just follows me. Even though she doesn't know where she is going, but deep down in her heart, she knows that she is safe. She believes that I would do my best to protect her. She didn't get scared or hesitate, she just followed me with full confidence. And I believe, my aunty has also placed her full trust in me (if not she would not have allowed her precious to go out with me). That's how Jesus said we should be like- to place our faith in Him like a little child.
A little child is a symbol of innocence. Most of the time, I use my learning, experience, wisdom and outlook in life to put my trust in God. Instead, I was reminded that I need to be like a child to believe with pure heart and sincerity of heart. A little child is not afraid of what he believes.
Let me express more childlike faith in my service onto You.. Dilligently and wholeheartedly. Amen.
Greater is He that's living in me, than he that is in the world!
