I'm finally updating!

Well, this is my life in a nutshell:

7am-7.45am: Get ready, eat breakfast, do Quiet Time
7.50am-8.25am: Travel to work
8.30am-5.30pm: WORK (usually I stay until 6.30pm. AND lunch break from 12pm-1.30pm)6.30pm onwards: Dinner with joey/joey's family/church friends
10.30pm-11pm: Shower, talk to mummy, check emails
11pm-12am: GOSSIP GIRLS SEASON 2!
12am-7am: my beauty sleep.

Yeah! IT's like that everyday.

Housing: I'm getting along with my housemates. Technically, I hardly meet them. Cos I reach home so late. Over the weekends, I have my own programme. So I don't hang out much with them. I'm living in the master room with an attached bathroom. I have my own privacy! The house is really BIG. but very empty. Very BARE. I have half the mind to decorate it or buy furniture. But I think it's not practical, since I am hardly ever at home. HAHA. I guess, I'll just get scrap materials, cut out and decorate my room. I already have some scrap materials, but I haven't gotten down to do anything yet! LAZY!

Work: Work was mundane and menial the first few weeks. On some days I had nothing to do. I was very disappointed and scared. Scared that I'll be wasting my time here if I have nothing to do. It went on for about a few weeks before I reached my breaking point and cried. THen I decided to talk to my supervisor, who by God's grace, is a fellow christian.

I was very honest with her, about how I felt about work and all. And she also told me how she felt about my work the first time she gave something to me. Then I realised that if I want work, I gotta be faithful in the small things. This means that I have to do the small things, whether it's booking facilities or borrowing prjectors, I need to do it well and prove to them that i can handle these menial tasks before they entrust more work to me.

After my talk with her, my perspective of work changed. And work has been picking up. I'm learning a lot of things like soft skills, people skills, excel skills, etc and I'm enjoying myself. :)

School: School started on friday. I was late on the first day of school. 15 minutes late! Yikes. I've made some new friends and I am enjoying the company! Some lessons are interesting, some lessons are extremely boring. I think my mandarin will improve by the time I leave Shanghai. Overdose of mandarin!

Miscelleaneous: I've been introduced to the gym here, near my current house. It really reminds me of the kickboxing lessons I had last semester with the other 3 muskeeteers. Loving it. That's my only source of exercise to prevent me from getting FAT.

I just had a haircut on Wed! I think it's nicer than my last haircut in Singapore. Ir looked funky for the first day, just the way i wanted it. BUT, I think it's starting to look weird cos I am too lazy to style it.

God has blessed me with friends who look out for me and take care of me over here! Cindy, has given me a bag of nice clothes and a bag for me to wear out for the rest of winter! Prettty! This will prevent me from shopping unnecessarily. :)

Send some love to me through sms/email like these okay! (this is my only request! haha. Please fufil my wish! haha.) It'll be awesome if one day I open my letter box and receive something from you? HAHA. I promise I'll be pleasantly surprised!

(OKAY, i can't believe I wrote the last paragraph. But I'm not kidding about it. hurhur!)

it was recorded.
