  1. Yesterday's lunch:
    1. 10 meatballs (favourite meal in IKEA)
    2. A drink
    3. 3 chicken wings
    4. One 500ml tub of Kings Macadamia Nut Ice Cream. YUMMY.
    5. Great fellowship with Grace.

hmm... now you know why I am growing FAT.
  2. I promised my cell that I AM NOT GOING TO COME ONLINE FOR THE NEXT WEEK. Heh. MSN is my temptation. Sooooo, each of us have this temptation box.. If we fail to keep our promise (in other words, if i log on onto MSN), we put $5 into the BOX. $5 per log in VS MSN.. AHHHHHH...
  3. I've got an annoucement to make: I AM SICK, yet again! Losing my voice. Hehe. Pray for me k..
  4. Today's E-service held at the rooftop went pretty well. When we were there around 4.15, the sky was grey, it was dark. There was thunder. We thought it was going to rain... ... If it rains, then the gig can't be held over at the roof top. That means, the SOUL SEEKERS have to change their plans. But what's there to fear when we have such an AWESOME God!? What was there to fear when everything is is God's hands? We prayed at the Praise Room... ...

Lo and behold, when we went up to the rooftop after praying, we were welcomed by the SUNLIGHT! It was so bright (relative to what it was like before). It didn't rain throughout the whole service. Amen.. God answered our prayers. Praise the Lord! Indeed, prayer moves the hands of God.

    my lovely roomie and I.

After service, I went to hang out with cheryl and grace at macdonalds. HEH. I like! Thank God you two as well! =)

" My heart and my soul, I give You control,

Consume me from the inside out.

Let justice and praise, become my embrace,

To love You from the inside out."

I love it when there is no school. I woke up super late today! Anyway, I studied a little. *pats myself on the back* But I wasn't very productive today!

My brother and I went to watch THE PRESTIGUE. Whao! It's a pretty interesting movie. Eh.. keeps your eyes glued to the screen because it was all over the place. hmm.. get what I mean? Like it keeps jumping from the present to the past... But it was a good show nonetheless. It makes me more skeptical about magic/illusions now! I think the real life "magicians" will have less business after the screening of this movie.

After that I went to VIVO CITY to meet von, drea and joseph. They made me wait ONE HOUR for them. I tell you VIVO CITY is huge! Gigantic. Enormous... It took me close to an hour to walk around the whole shopping centre. (I was just walking outside the shops. I didn't go into the shops.) So can you imagine how ginormous the whole place is? Not my type of shopping centre though.. So I was bored.

We ate at MACs and we were reminiscing about the past, STC, how we used to go to World Trade Centre after school, the activities we did in school, how much we despised some teachers, how much we miss Mr Yeo (our chemistry teacher)... AYE. Good old days.. If only I had written down what I went through then.. *aawwwwww..* Guess STC was the turning point of my life! HEH. If you have not already known, I hated my primary school days.

I think I have a sleeping disorder. No matter how much I sleep, I am still tired! My dark rings are not going away... So, i fell asleep on my way back from VIVO CITY.. overslept. And realised I was one stop away from Jurong Point. HA. I immediately alighted and walked home.

There goes my holiday.

Oh my goodness... I just looked through my planner and realised that my exams are just 3 weeks away.. This is madness! As I have said earlier... I haven't really studied!2 chapters of each of my five modules at most.. (I have 12 chapters to study each, means 60 in total!) Oh my gosh! Uni JUST started.. And what now, the exams in 3 weeks time is going to bring a closure to the semester. So fast. Too fast, too furious..

Haaa.. I shouldn't complain that I have no time, because time is the most equitable commodity! Everyone regardless of race, language, religion, whether rich or poor, beautiful or ugly, short or tall, have EQUAL amount of time! Maybe I have wasted my time.. I think I just did! AYE...Once we lose the time, it'll be gone forever.. so scary.

YIKES.

In His time, He makes everything beautiful in His time.. =)

I am officially stressed over school work. All of a sudden, I feel overwhelmed! I am behind time for certain modules, I am in the midst of understanding whatever the lecturers are going through, and worst of all, I have been falling asleep during lectures. I haven't really been studying... (does keeping up with tutorial mean I am studying?) AYE! Everyone seems to be mugging really hard! This is scary. Where have all the uni-slackers gone? Whoever said Uni was less stressful than JC!? I disagree with you. RAAAR!

*take a deep breath, huiyi*

John 12: 37-40 says...
"37 But despite all the miraculous signs he had donem most of the people did not believe him. 38 This is exactly what Isaiah the prophet had predicted:
"Lord, who has believed our message?
To whom will the Lord reveal his saving power?"
39 But the people couldn't believe for Isaiah aslo said,
40 "The Lord has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts --
so their eyes cannot see and their hearts cannot understand,
and they cannot turn to me
and let me heal them."
Jesus had performed many miracles, but the popele still didn't believe Him. Likewise, many today don't believe Jesus despite all that He has done. My(our) job is to continue to be a faithful witness. I am responsible to reach out to them, but they are responsible for their own decision.. So the Lord has hardened their heart, but did God intentionally do that? NO. He simply confirmed their own choices. After a lifetime of resisting God, they had become so set in their own ways that they wouldn't even try to understand Jesus' message. For such people, their hearts have been permanently hardened, it is virtually impossible for them to come to God. For others, their hearts hardened due to constant stubbornness..

hmmm, i suddenly thought of my loved ones.. and became quite sad.
Sing of Your great Love..
Let this be my prayer everyday, Lord

All that is within me Lord
Will bless Your holy name
I live my life to worship You alone
You brought me out of darkness and
Into Your glorious light
Forever I will sing of Your great love
Forever I will sing of Your great love

I yearn to see You glorified
To see You lifted high
I yearn to see all nations bow their knee
It's You alone Lord Jesus
Who can cause the coldest heart
To find Your love and everlasting peace
To fing Your love and everlasting peace

Holy Holy Holy is the Lord

Your trumpet will sound
And all the heavens will know
That the time has finally come
For the bride to take her place
And we'll hear the angels sing...

Spent a lot more time in church this week. Feels different. This week I was reminded to be in God's presence always.. Not serving out of my own strength. I also need to grow intellectually (with the word of God), spiritually and socially. So fen and i did bible study together. Cell was great, because fen and I shared our struggles and we have plans to do something about it. Well I guess it's not by mere coincidence that we are roommates. Guess God has His own ways of bringing His messages across.

HAHA. Anyway, I am laughing at my own blunders I made during service. I admit that I was really stressed. Especially during altar call! RAaaaah.. nerve wrecking I tell you. I mean its not nice to play something off tune when people are responding to God. I couldn't think of the chords off hand.. so this tells me that i have a lot more work to do on my part. haha. i am encouraged by what fen said : every mistake you make means that there is a step for improvement.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU KOR..

Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added onto You..
