Terrible
I have 5 more papers to go. 3 the coming week. 2 the following week. I prayed with my friends on Wednesday before our first paper and I think it's cool! :)
Oh well. Terrible. What was so terrible then?
I. Made. A. Mistake.
And I still can't come to terms with it.
I was... Very. Affected. I had no mood to study.
But I was reminded of last week's sermon. Pastor Jadene preached about insecurity and I was reminded that my security is in God and not in the things that I do. She said that the world finds security in results and accomplishments... But we find our security in Him. I know sometimes I fall into the trap of the world.. I can't help it.. But I thank God for gentle reminders through friends and sermons.. It made me change my perspective of things.
I don't think I have fully come to terms with the problem yet. BUT I really want to concentrate on my exams first. I guess I will only feel the full impact of the situation when I start to settle the problem.
I think I've already eaten the humble pie.
I've already admitted my grave mistake.
I've apologised to some.
Now I seek their kind understanding, else I'll be trapped in this terrible moment. Forgiveness comes in both ways. I need to forgive myself and the others need to forgive me. They need to assure me as well....
I am learning.
Still learning.
And I definitely took home some pointers.
This year, my ministry went into the doldrums...
But I know it will only get better.

1 Peter 5:6
"So humble youselves under the mighty power of God, and in his good time he will honor you."
This verse stood out as I was reading the passage just now. The commentary said.. "We often worry about our positio and status, hoping to get proper recognition for what we do. But Peter advises us to remember that God's recognition counts more than human praise. God is able and willing to bless us according to his timing. Humbly obey God regardless of present circumstances, and in His good time - either in this life or the next - He will honor you."
Whao... It totally spoke to me... See the last post and you will know why.
